Dr. Baker received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she studied the role of Fidgetin-like 2 in regulating axonal growth and nerve regeneration after injury. She has expertise in the neuronal cytoskeleton, microtubule dynamics, and siRNA therapeutics, and currently leads MicroCures’ preclinical R&D research programs to develop pro-regenerative therapeutics for the treatment of spinal cord and peripheral nerve injuries.
